You don’t need to create an account to shop on our website, although there are several advantages in doing so including access to your recent order history, creating multiple addresses for sending gifts to family and friends, and expedited checkout.

Whitley’s Peanut Factory’s website prioritizes the security of your data by utilizing Shopify's robust security platform, including 256-bit SSL encryption for all transactions, and PCI DSS Level 1 compliance for payment processing.  We regularly monitor our systems and adhere to industry best practices to maintain the highest level of security for our customers.

When you place an order, create an account with us, or participate in a promotion or survey we collect certain information from you including your name, email address, mailing address, and phone numbers. We also maintain a record of your purchases. We use your information to process your order, send an order confirmation, and send a shipping confirmation.  We may also use your information if we need to contact you via phone, or email with any questions regarding your order.

Whitley's Peanut Factory uses all features of Google Analytics, including obtaining specific visitor cookie data, such as the source, medium and keyword used to visit our website. Google Analytics does not store any visitor specific data and we will not use visitor specific data in any way related to Google Analytics, Google Adwords, and Remarketing.

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Shopify Pay.

Whitley’s calculates and collects Sales and Use tax on sales of merchandise in accordance with state, provincial and local tax regulations. Sales and Use Tax is now calculated based on which state the product ships to and varies by State and Region. You can view the calculated tax for your order on the ORDER TOTALS page before you proceed to the Billing Information Page. 

About Sending Gifts and Shipping to Multiple Addresses

Yes.  During the checkout process, you simply check the IS THIS A GIFT? above the requested ship date section and enter your message.  Please be sure to include who the gift is from as this is the only place your name will appear with the order.  Gift messages are limited to 200 characters including text, punctuation, and spaces. Please refrain from using emojis in your message.

Absolutely!  Share the deliciousness of Whitley’s Peanuts with as many family, friends, and colleagues as you want whether you are checking out as a guest or when logged into your account. 

If logged into your account, you can add multiple addresses to your account using the VIEW ADDRESSES link and selecting ADD ADDRESS.  The addresses are then easily accessible during the checkout process.

To Ship to Multiple Addresses: 

  • Add all items to your cart. 
  • When your shopping is complete, select the SHIP TO MULTIPLE ADDRESSES button in your cart.
  • Click on SELECT FROM SAVED ADDRESSES next to the product.  From here you can either add an address or, if logged into your account, select the one of the addresses associated with your account.
  • To add additional addresses, simply select SHIP ANOTHER and repeat the process. 
  • When done, select the CHECKOUT button to complete your purchase.

About Shipping

We offer FREE Standard Shipping and Handling in the Contiguous US, as well as APO, DPO and FPO overseas mailing addresses. All qualifying orders will ship with no shipping charges - there's no minimum purchase needed, and no end date. No promotion code required.

At checkout, you will be required to provide a requested ship date.  Please note, this is the date the product will ship from our location, NOT the date the package will arrive. The estimated arrival date is provided when selecting your shipping method.

Orders leave our facility within 2-business days of the selected ship date.  Minor delays may occur during high volume periods.  You will be notified by email when your package ships, including tracking information.

No, we do not. While some shipments require the use of packing peanuts to ensure your order arrives damage free, our packaging peanuts are made with a starch based material. They are non-toxic, environmentally friendly, and biodegradable.

We want you to be completely satisfied. If you are not happy with your purchase for any reason, please contact customer service at 1-800 470-2244 or by emailing us at customercare@whitleyspeanut.com within 30 days of the ship date for a replacement or full refund. Return shipping charges are not refundable. In the event that an item is out of stock, we may substitute an item of equal or greater value. We can only offer refunds and replacements for products purchased directly from Whitley's Peanut Factory.

About Our Products

We characterize our peanuts as “Home-Cooked” because they’re batch-roasted in small quantities, just like you would at home. The process brings out a deep, toasty flavor while preserving the signature crunch that distinguishes Virginia-type peanuts from other varieties.  Whitley’s unwavering commitment to quality, from ingredient selection through packaging, guarantees a fresh, premium experience with every tin.

The shelf life of our products varies by container.  Remember, you can always extend the freshness and flavor by storing in the refrigerator.

Whitley’s Peanut Factory does not have separate facilities specific to allergens. The following allergens are handled with care: Peanuts, Tree nuts, Milk, Soy, Wheat and Sesame.

The FDA has established a “Standard of Identity” for certain foods, including ice cream, ketchup and various breads; as well as milk chocolate and white chocolate. While their standards of identity differ, both milk and white chocolate require very specific percentages of milk fat and milk solids in order to be categorized as a “chocolate”. In our recipe, vegetable oil replaces these fats resulting in a silky mixture that is easier to work with, more consistent, and tastes amazing.

When you purchase from us you will be added to our email list and start to receive emails and newsletters from us. If you do not wish to receive e-mails just scroll to the bottom of any email you receive and click the unsubscribe link.

You can also sign-up to receive text messages from us on your mobile devices.  CLICK HERE to enroll.  If you wish to stop receiving these messages just text STOP and you will be removed from this list.

Discount codes can be entered on the BILLING screen during checkout.  Discounts are valid only for items associated with the promotion.  At times, we may have multiple promotions in progress but you can only use one promotion code at checkout so we suggest using the one with the highest value.

We publish and mail a catalog several times a year. If you have made a purchase from us within the past 12 months you will be added to our catalog mailing list or CLICK HERE to receive our most recent catalog.  If you would like to be removed from our mailing list, you can call us at 1-800-470 2244 or e-mail us at customercare@whitleyspeanut .com and ask to be put on the do not mail list.

About Wholesale, Fundraising, and Corporate Gifts

Qualified accounts with a tax re-sale number are eligible to purchase Whitley's products at wholesale prices to be sold at their retail locations. Please be aware the we do not allow any of our products to be sold on third party sites such as Amazon, Walmart, etc.
