Are the peanuts heavily salted?

No. Our Salted Virginia Peanuts are lightly salted to complement, not overpower, the natural flavor of the peanuts. The balance of salt and roast creates a classic, crave-worthy snack.

Why are they called “chocolatey” and not “chocolate”?

The FDA has established a “Standard of Identity” for certain foods, including chocolate. Chocolate requires a very specific percentages of milk fat and milk solids in order to be categorized as a “chocolate”. In our recipe, vegetable oil replaces these fats resulting in a silky mixture that is easier to work with, more consistent, and tastes amazing.

How long will a tin of Whitley's stay fresh?

Unsealed tins have a shelf-life of 15 months but you can extend their freshness by storing in the refrigerator or freezer.
