Are Whitley’s Chocolatey Peanut Clusters made with Virginia peanuts?

Yes! We proudly use high-quality Virginia peanuts, known for their extra-large size and exceptional crunch, to create our signature peanut clusters.

Why are they called “chocolatey” and not “chocolate”?

The FDA has established a “Standard of Identity” for certain foods, including chocolate. Chocolate requires a very specific percentages of milk fat and milk solids in order to be categorized as a “chocolate”. In our recipe, vegetable oil replaces these fats resulting in a silky mixture that is easier to work with, more consistent, and tastes amazing.

Do Whitley’s Chocolatey Peanut Clusters need to be refrigerated?

Refrigeration is not required, but we recommend storing them in a cool, dry place to maintain the best flavor and texture, especially during warmer months.

How long will a tin of Whitley's stay fresh?

Unsealed tins have a shelf-life of 15 months but you can extend their freshness by storing in the refrigerator or freezer. How long will a tin of Whitley’s Salted Virginia peanuts stay fresh?
